Keya Ghosh presented a paper on 'Indigenous knowledge innovation (IKI) – An approach for sustainable SMEs in handicraft sector of KBK districts of Odisha' at the International Conference jointly organized by the International Management Institute, New Delhi along with College of Business Administration, University of Alabama, USA and Dept. of Industrial Engineering, Indonesia at New Delhi on 28th–30th December, 2013 at New Delhi.

Dr. Sonali Ghosh presented a paper on 'Enzymatic treatment of tea for enhancement of quality and prevention of metabolic disorder' at the Conference on Therapeutic ways to wellness: relevance of nutrition, psychology, art and music organized by Dept. of Home Science, Calcutta University, Viharilal college campus on 21st- 22nd February, 2014.

Dr. Sonali Ghosh presented a paper on 'A comparative study on the benefits of flavoured Black Tea' at the Conference on 'Therapeutic ways to wellness: relevance of nutrition, psychology, art and music' organized by Department of Home Science, Calcutta University, Viharilal college campus on 21st- 22nd February, 2014.

45. Ms. Pratyasha Agarwal, Assistant. Prof. - FSNM Dept presented a paper "Nutritional Status of Beneficiaries of Mid-Day Meal Program among School Children of 7-9 Years Age in Kolkata", at the UGC-sponsored two day National Seminar on 'Therapeutic Ways to Wellness: Relevance of Nutrition, Psychology, Art and Music' hosted by the Department of Home Science, University of Calcutta on 21st February 2014.

46. Two former-students of the college, Ms. Aditi Khanna and Ms. Chitrarpita Saha from the FSNM department presented the M.Sc research undertaken by them under the guidance of Dr. Sonali Ghosh at at the UGC-sponsored two day National Seminar on 'Therapeutic Ways to Wellness: Relevance of Nutrition, Psychology, Art and Music' hosted by the Department of Home Science, University of Calcutta on 21st February 2014. Their papers were as follows:
a) Aditi Khanna – A Comparative Study on the benefits of flavoured black tea.
b) Ms. Chitrapita Saha – Enzymatic treatment of tea for enhancement of quality and prevention of metabolic disorder.

47. Mrs. Keya Ghosh, Assistant. Prof. - Dept. of Commerce presented a paper on 'Financial Inclusion of Excludes through MGNREGA in Orissa - An Analysis' at the 3rd International Conference on 'Emerging Trends in Finance & Accounting' organized by SDMIMD, Mysore on 21st to 23rd August, 2014. Her trip to Mysore was sponsored by the college under the Faculty Development Programme.

48. Dr. Rajashree Sarkar, Asst Prof. - Dept. of Commerce presented a paper entitled "Air Quality Index in Jabalpur, MP – A Case Study" at the 2nd International Conference on emerging trends in agriculture, horticulture and environmental engineering organized by ETAHEE on 15th to 17th November, 2014 at Bhopal

49. Dr. Singhee chaired and moderated a session at the 4-day long International Conference on Natural Dyes entitled "Colours of Nature" hosted by SUTRA at ICCR on 16th February, 2014.

50. Dr. Singhee was invited to present a paper as a panel speaker on "Natural dyes – its Indian roots with special emphasis on traditional textiles using natural colours". at the International workshop on Natural Dyes under the National Agricultural Innovation Project – Value Chain in Natural Dyes and hosted by College of Home Science, ANGRAU, Hyderabad from 5th to 7th March 2014. Unfortunately she could not attend the conference to the sudden JU inspection Visit.

51. Mrs. Punam Mehra, Asst. Prof, with Dept. of HD was invited to conduct a workshop on "Handling Children and Adolescents" for the grass root workers of Compassion Eastern India, at NGZO at Gopalpur, Odisha on 10th September, 2014.

Dr. Deepali Singhee sent two selected research posters, "Effect of mordants on dyeing of silk fabric with butea monosperma (tesu / flame of forest)" and "A study on the application of natural dyes from eucalyptus bark & leaves on silk fabric & different characteristics" prepared by M.Sc students under her guidance for display during the International workshop on Natural Dyes at Hyderabad from 5th to 7th March 2014. She herself could not attend the seminar.

4. Ms. Samita Gupta, Asst Prof. – Dept. of TCFS attended a QIP/CEP program on "Sizing, Fit & Design of Functional Clothing" organized by IIT Delhi in collaboration with GD Goenka School of Fashion & Design, Noida from 3rd to 7th November, 2014 at IIT, Delhi.

5. Dr. (Ms). Krishnakali Bhattacharyya, Asst Prof. – Dept. of HD attended a National Seminar on "History of Psychology in India" hosted by Department of Psychology, University of Calcutta on 18th -19th of March, 2015 at Shivananda Hall, Ramkrishna Mission Institute of Culture. She was sponsored Rs. 1200/- towards registration under the faculty Development Scheme.

6. Ms. Moumita Mukherjee, Asst Prof. – Dept. of HD participated in a Refresher Course on "Research Methodology (CRE)" conducted by the Department of Psychology, University of Calcutta, as part of her Ph.D. Coursework programme, from March 21st-26th, 2015.
